Mackenzie Wilmoth has been writing music since she was thirteen years old. In March 2021, during her last semester of high school, she recorded and released her first single “way out,” and in June 2021, she released her first album “nonfiction.” 

Her music is incredibly detail oriented, authentic, and passionate, all while remaining alluring and witty. Crafting intricate images with her lyrics, she creates an intimate atmosphere for her listeners to immerse themselves in, so that they can relate to it as well.

Her hit-song "lara jean," which she wrote when she was only seventeen, and has amassed over 1,000 streams on Spotify and over 10,000 streams on Apple Music, was written about a close friend's experience with heartbreak and lost love.
